I want out!! Does anyone think weddings are a stupid custom?

just elope, forget the muss and fuss and elope then if u feel like it throw a huge party for u all later on. I was really dreading my wedding and almost eloped with my hubby when we went to gatlinburg tennessee but we had second thoughts on the pain it would cause and we decided on a wedding, but his mom was a pain all the way thru it and still makes our lives miserable for the most part, but i love my hubby and wouldnt change a day with him .. do what u feel is right and elope and enjoy married life...
