Does anyone know what the censorship regulations for media are?

My friend is doing a project on censorship in like broadcasting, television and movies...ect...and she is unable to find anything about certain rules or regulations censorship has on the media. So I decided to help and also didn't find anything soooo i came here! ^_^ So Does anyone know of any rules?
