Hey what happened after jesus was crucified and resurrected?

like what happened to pontius pilate? his mother? his disciples? the high priests that condemned him? i tried reading the bible but its hard to follow. im thinking of buying an easier to read bible. by the way i wasnt really into the whole religion thing but now i want to read up on him and maybe get my faith back.
